Kai started in the financial industry in Aug 1987 in Hamburg, Germany, and from January 1990 on a trading floor. spent 22 years as an institutional bond trader, market maker, and portfolio manager at European banks in Frankfurt,  New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Munich, and London before leaving the corporate world.

Having worked across all major financial hubs, he is keen on leveraging his global perspective to deliver differentiated market analyses.

Kai has a Commercial College degree, a German Commercial Banking Diploma, and was a receiver of the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft scholarship. He studied Economics at the VWA Frankfurt and later earned an employer-sponsored MBA in Financial Management Services from the University of Wales, Cardiff, both part-time. He also attended courses at the London Business School.
